Controller data stays on your device
The controller vibration test runs entirely in your browser. Button presses, controller names and your test answers are processed locally and are never uploaded or stored by us.
If you run a controller checkup, its results are saved in your browser’s local storage so the report is still there when you move between tests. They stay on your device, and the Clear button on the report removes them.
Analytics
We use two analytics services to understand how the site is used and to decide what to build next:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across sites.
- Google Analytics 4, which sets first-party cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device type. We also send a few anonymous events: the controller family detected (for example “Xbox”), which test preset was played, whether vibration was unsupported, and the test result category. These events contain no personal information. See how Google uses this data.
You can block analytics with a content blocker or by opting out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The tool keeps working either way.
